# Dao Falls Canyoneering

> Guided canyoneering (waterfall rappelling) at Dao Falls in Samboan, South Cebu, Philippines. A jump and six rappels, including a 45-meter rappel straight into Dao Falls, led by professional guides with EN and UIAA-certified equipment. ₱3,500 per person. Opening December 2026 – January 2027. - Price: ₱3,500 per person (PHP), groups of 2–10
- Included: professional guides, all technical gear, motorbike transfer, drinks, fresh coconut and snacks, all local LGU fees
- Departures: 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM daily, all year except holidays, weather permitting
- Duration: about 4 hours in total; 2–3 hours in the canyon; 15-minute approach, 20-minute return
- Descent: a jump and 3 rappels, then a 45 m (150 ft) rappel straight into Dao Falls, then 2 more rappels (6 rappels, 1 jump)
- Difficulty: easy to moderate. Fitness: moderate. Minimum age: 16. No experience needed
- Harness fit: waist 53–120 cm (20–47 in), legs 35–75 cm (14–29 in). Life jackets for non-swimmers. Water about 24–25 °C
- Payment: cash at the office, or PayPal (Visa, Mastercard)
- Changes: up to 72 hours before the tour; full refund if guides cancel for weather or hazards
- Getting there: Ceres bus south from Moalboal (~1 hr) or from Cebu City South Bus Terminal to the Dao Waterfalls sign; motorcycle pickup from the sign
